With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ella De Stigter of Sioux Center, Iowa, who passed away on June 28, 2023 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Leonard De Stigter of Sioux Center; her parents, Albert Mulder and Cynthia Mulder; her parents-in-law, Ella Brunsting, Lane and Barbara De Stigter; her daughters, Emlyn De Stigter and Elaine Meyer; her daughter-in-law JoAnn De Stigter; and her siblings, Ralph (Carrie Mulder), Ben (Dorothy De Leeuw), Thomas (Bernice Mulder), Vernon (Marie Van Ommeren) and Alvin Mulder (Peter Humme).
She is survived by: her children, Philip, Paul, Thane, Ginny De Stigter of Loveland, CO, Sonja and Dick Sander of Castle Rock, CO; her sons-in-law, Larry Meyer of Oakdale, PA, Philip (Bonnie De Stigter) and Paul (Susann De Stigter); her sister Sylvia Humme of Orange City, IA; and her sisters-in-law, Dorothy Mulder of Ontario, CA and Elaine De Stigter of Grand Rapids, MI. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren.
