He is survived by: his former wife Ella JoAnn Van Middendorp; his child Lynn; his wife JoAnn Van Beek; his son Roger Van Beek (Lori); his grandchildren, Callie and Zachary; his son Rodney Van Beek (Kathy); his grandchildren, Tyler and Ryan (Kendra); his great grandchild Nora; his grandchild Lynn Van Beek (Mindy); his great grandchildren, Payton of Sioux Center, IA, Daniel of Sioux Center, IA and Cael of Sioux Center, IA; his daughter Wanda Jansma of Hull, IA; and his brother-in-law Dick Burgers of Rock Valley, IA.
In lieu of flowers or gift items the family prefers memorials be directed to the Netherlands Reformed Christian School in Rock Valley.
