He is survived by: his son Daniel; his wife Donna Walstra of Sioux Center, IA; his children, Angela Llerena (Reinhold) of South Barrington, IL, Mindy Hummel (Craig) of Ballwin, MO and Dan Walstra (Lori) of Sioux Center; his grandchildren, Annika, Nate, Willem, Ian, Bennett, Madalin, Isabelle and Jonah; and his sister Cindy Bykerk.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Christian Education Fund or Dordt University.
