With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dallas De Jong of Sioux Center, Iowa, who passed away on January 24, 2025 at the age of 81. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dallas De Jong to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Simon Jong and Tracy De Jong (Moss); his brother Stanley De Jong; and his siblings-in-law, Dick C. Dykstra and Eunice De Jong.
He is survived by: his siblings, Allen De Jong of Ruthven, IA, Florence Dykstra of Hospers, IA, Odean De Jong (Phyllis) of Hull, IA, Lloyd De Jong (Lois) of Sioux Center, Karen Kooima (Myron) of Inwood, IA and Beverly Eckblad (Larry) of Lakewood, CO; his nephew Todd; and his niece Heather De Jong of Ruthven, IA. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Carmel Reformed Church (2801 360th St, Rock Valley, IA 51247).
In lieu of flowers or gifts the De Jong family prefers memorials be directed to the Carmel Reformed Church.
