He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerrit Boerma and Esther Boerma (Klumb); his parents-in-law, Julius and Elsie Anderson; his sister Ruby; his siblings-in-law, Lloyd Abbott, Donna Anderson (Bob Anderson), Betty Anderson, Earl R. Anderson and Laurence Anderson; and his aunts and uncles, Mike, Helen Klumb Reit, Nick, Minnie Buis, Pete, Gertrude Andriesen, Neal, Clara Schouten, Joe and Suzie Boerma.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Elaine Anderson; and his brother-in-law Robert Anderson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, cousins, and numerous special friends.
Dale's family prefers memorials be directed to Trinity Lutheran Church, LCMS in Hawarden.
