She was predeceased by: her parents, Pete Lockhorst and Christina Lockhorst; her siblings, Pete Lockhorst (Pricilla), Adrianna (Darold), Bultman (Les Webert), Jeanette Boogerd (Fred), Paul Lockhorst (Geri), Dorothy Hulshof (Melvin) and Grace Oldenkamp; and her in-laws, Nelson Cleveringa (Theresa), Tunis Cleveringa (Ila), John Cleveringa, Wilma Kraayenbrink (Harry), Margaret "Mike" Erickson and Tunis Vollink.
She is survived by: her husband Garold Cleveringa; her children, Brenda (Gary Gesink), Doug (Jolene Cleveringa), Dave (Jenny Cleveringa) and Sheryl (Wayne Storm); her grandchildren, Brian, Mariah Gesink, Kyle, Megan, Jacob, Taylor, Kole Cleveringa (Kylie De Boer), Carrigan, Ben Lewis, Tanner, Madison Cleveringa, Camryn, Jessen Reinking, Tage Cleveringa, Katie Storm, Paelyn, Maddox and Paxley Winterfeld; her great grandchildren, Dawson, Emmett, Sawyer Gesink, Rose and Sofia Lewis; her brother Don (Deanna Lockhorst); and her in-laws, Herm Oldenkamp, Marj Cleveringa, Fran Vollink and Lee Erickson.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Memorial Funeral Home (12 16th St SE, Sioux Center, IA 51250). A prayer was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the New Life Church (232 16th St SE, Sioux Center, IA 51250). A memorial service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
The Cleveringa family prefers memorials be directed to the New Life Church Expansion or Crown Pointe Estates.
