He was predeceased by: his father Frederick Koekkoek; his siblings, Frederick, Leitha and Harold; and his daughter Suzanne Meendering.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his children, Jeanne Stierman (Dan Curtis) of Macomb, IL, Alan Koekkoek of Archer, IA and Adele Leach (Michael) of Broken Arrow, OK; and his son-in-law Lanny Meendering of Inwood, IA. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
