She was predeceased by: her husband John; her siblings, Luther and Jennie Engelenhoven; her sister-in-law Elizabeth Zeilstra; and also, Joe, Margret Van Roekel, Bill, Minnie Klarenbeek, Tony, Winnie Van Roekel, Jake, Jossie Van Roekel, Cornelius Van Roekel, Willie and Albertha Van Roekel.
She is survived by: her children, James Van Roekel (Karen) of Dakota Dunes, SD, Thomas Van Roekel (Rhonda) of Sioux Falls, Anita Swier (Walt) of Marshall, MO and Larry Van Roekel (Melodi) of Nerstrand, MN; her siblings, Joann DeJong (Wilbur), John Zeilstra and Wilbur Zeilstra (Tillie); and her siblings-in-law, Hermina Van Roekel and Gerrit Van Engelenhoven.
