It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ron Kerr of Sigourney, Iowa, born in Ottumwa, Iowa, who passed away on September 2, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Emery Kerr and Nadine Kerr (Beasley); his daughter Kristina Hammes; his brother-in-law Newell Hart; and his father-in-law Bill Carter.

He is survived by: his former wife Linda Clarahan; his wife Sherry Kerr of Sigourney; his daughter Tamara Kerr of Knoxville, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Courtney Long (Ryan) of Newhall, Shane Kerr of Knoxville, Colton Hammes (Shelby Christman) of Kirksville and Chase Tremmel (Alyssa Manchester) of North Liberty; his great grandchildren, Kierra Torres, Reagan Long and Jaxen Hammes; his siblings, Garry Kerr of Pleasant Hill, Karen Hart of Urbandale, Linda Kerr of Sigourney, Pam Carter (Steve) of Washington, Mike Kerr (Dorothy) of Keota, Carol Mendenhall (Bob) of Sigourney and Jackie Baughman (Kevin) of Keota; and his mother-in-law Patricia Carter. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Due to COVID, plans for a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
