It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mildred Kleinschmidt Abel formerly of Sigourney, Iowa, who passed away on February 13, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ed Warren and Hazel Warren (Campbell); her husband Rex Abel; and her siblings, Richard Warren, Virginia Simmons and Alice Warren.
She is survived by: her significant other Jack Kleinschmidt; her daughter Kim Kleinschmidt of Des Moines; and her brother-in-law John Simmons of Brillion, WI. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, their spouses and families and many dear friends.
Due to the pandemic, there will be no visitation.
Memorials may be made to the Sigourney United Methodist Church, Sigourney Fire and Rescue, Lewis Memorial Fountain, 4th of July Fireworks Fund or the Keokuk County Historical Society.
