It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Maureen Menster of Sigourney, Iowa, born in Dubuque, Iowa, who passed away on August 24, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph J. Dolan and Leona S. Andresen Dolan; her brother James; her brother-in-law Irwin Simon; and her parents-in-law, Ray and Florence Menster.
She is survived by: her husband Bill; her children, Scott Menster (Alicia) of Bloomfield, IA, Chad Menster (Leah) of Falls Church, VA, Brian Menster (Jane) of Bettendorf, IA and Julie Jordhal (Joe) of Sioux Falls, SD; her grandchildren, Miles, Samuel, Ben Menster, Breanna, Emily Payne, Bo Menster, Kyle Simcox, Luke, Maggie, Lauren Menster, Kiera, Jack, Grace and Nicholas Jordhal; her sister Mary Kircher (Ron); and her sisters-in-law, Kathy Dolan, Becky Duval (Virgil), Donna Healy, LuAnn Simon and Joanie Barnard (Denny). She is also survived by 22 nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Maureen has requested for donations to be made to the Keokuk County Hospice and Essence of Life Hospice who cared for Maureen over the last two weeks along with her family.
