It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marilyn Schroeder of Sigourney, Iowa, born in Fairfield, Iowa, who passed away on November 26, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Davis and Dorothy Davis (Kenning); her husband Larry Schroeder; her son Bruce Allen Schroeder; and her siblings, Kenny, Robert, Harold, Harry Lee, Don, Wayne Davis (Pappy) and Mary Neis.
She is survived by: her sons, Randy Schroeder (Jody) of Montezuma and Terry Schroeder (Missy) of Sigourney; her grandchildren, Andrew Schroeder (Lexi), Ashley Schroeder (Zach), Brooke (Drew) and Ally Schroeder; her great grandchildren, Reagan, Ryann and Raxton; and her sister Helen Dumont (Lyle) of Sigourney.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Powell Funeral Home-Sigourney (105 N Jefferson St, Sigourney, IA 52591). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
A memorial fund has been established for Essence of Life Hospice.
