He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Howard and Bernice Lucille Elder Appleget; and his siblings, Doris Waechter, Jean Mateer Ashby, Patricia Seivert, Larry Appleget, Allen Appleget and Donald Appleget.
He is survived by: his wife Jan; his stepchildren, Kristine Miller of Parnell, Gene Watts (Nikki) of Montrose and Bobbie-Jo Watts of Montrose; his grandchildren, Mileah Miller, Zoe Miller, Brayden Miller, Stephanie French, Dustin Watts, Tommy Watts, Olivia Day and Braylon Day; and his sister Linda Brady (Don) of Lawrence. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Holm Funeral Home (320 N Shuffleton St, Sigourney, IA 52591).
