She was predeceased by: her parents, Ervie Hermanstorfer and Edna Hermanstorfer (Martin); her son Ronald Dawson; and her sisters, Arlene Pfannebecker and Dorothy Mae Van Haaften.
She is survived by: her sons, Donald Dawson of Iowa City and Kelly Herrick of Sigourney; her grandchildren, Shawn Dawson (Angela) of Oskaloosa, Suzan Hauser (Jason) of Florida and Leah Baker (Nick) of Davenport; her great grandchildren, Jack, Emma Dawson, Knox and Jett Baker; and her sister Sonna Jennings (Gailen) of Sigourney.
