He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Davis of Sigourney; his sons, Randy Schroeder (Jody) of Montezuma and Terry Schroeder (Missy) of Sigourney; his grandchildren, Andrew Schroeder (Lexi), Ashley Schroeder (Zach), Brooke (Drew) and Ally Schroeder; his great grandchildren, Reagan, Ryann and Raxton; and his sister Jan Crissman of Ottumwa.

A memorial fund has been established for Essence of Life Hospice.
