He was predeceased by: his sons, Edmund Trenkamp and Daniel Trenkamp; and his brother Max T. Knudsen. He is survived by: his wife Vernice Hildegard Fangman Trenkamp; his daughters, Jean Axmear (Alan) of Sigourney and Shirley Holm (Jeff) of Sigourney; his granddaughters, Jessica Horras, Meredith Holm, Hanna Kullander and Carolyn Holm-Eslick; his great grandchildren, Aidan, Addilyn, Amelia, Jaxson, Finnley and Vivian; his nephews, Jim Knudsen of Coralville and Charley Knudsen of Marion; and his great-nephew Christopher Knudsen.
Memorials may be given to Keokuk County Hospice Foundation.
