It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerome Berg of Sigourney, Iowa, who passed away on February 23, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jerome Berg to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas H. Berg and Magdelena Adam Berg; his wife Kathryn G. Grimes; his siblings, Leander, Ivo, Urban, Cletus, LaVernon, Marie and Genevieve; and his son-in-law Jay Miller.
He is survived by: his children, Don Berg (Kathleen), Ed Berg (Becky) of Sigourney, Nick Berg (Jan) of Delta, Kathryn McNabb (Dave) of Williamsburg, Anita Yoder (Ron) of Mound and Sara Miller of Iowa City; his brother Bernard Berg (Cleo) of Wellman; and his sisters-in-law, Carole Sheetz of Grand Junction and Donna Fenske of Homer, Alaska.. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jerry's name to St. Mary's Catholic Church of Sigourney, Safe Haven of Iowa County, or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
