It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Geraldine Cavin of Sigourney, Iowa, who passed away on October 1, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Geraldine Cavin to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John C. Weber and Clara Buch Weber; her husband Anthony John Cavin (A. J.); her grandsons, Clint Cavin and Zachary Deitrich; her great grandchildren, Charlie Deitrich and Billy Cavin Berry; and her siblings, Richard, Alvin Weber, Lorena Bair and Marie Snakenberg.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra Hammes (Mike) of Coralville, Jane Deitrich (Ronnie) of Cedar Rapids, Linda Johnston (Dennis) of Ottumwa, Andy Cavin (Bonnie) of Sigourney and Dan Cavin (Jae) of Hayesville; and her sisters, Carol Weber and Connie Stabala (Mike). She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to St. Mary Sigourney Altar and Rosary.
