He was predeceased by: his parents, Myrl Appleget and Ethel Hollingsworth Appleget; his son Steven; and his brother Clarence Appleget. He is survived by: his spouse Jean Barnhart; his daughter Donna Strand (Bob) of Geneva, IL.; his grandson Eric Strand (Janis) of Chicago; his great grandchildren, Dean and Jane Strand; his siblings, Rex Appleget (Barb) of Cedar Rapids, IA., Verna Edmundson of Sigourney and Ruth Deitrich of Bettendorff; and his sister-in-law Rosemary Appleget of Sigourney.
