William Gene Long Sr. Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 2, 2023, at the age of 86, William Gene Long Sr. of Sidney, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Long and William Hume Long; his wife Jane; and his granddaughter Lauren Klosterman. He is survived by: his children, Janet Klosterman (Loras) of Omaha, NE, Bill "Butch" Long (Olivia) of Cedar Falls, IA and John Long (Cheryl) of Sidney, IA; his grandchildren, Jennifer, Abby, Austin, Addison, Nolan, Clayton and Elise; and his great grandchildren, Nora, Celia, Charlie, Andie and Teddy. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Memorials are suggested to the Sidney American Legion or St. Mary's Catholic Church in Hamburg.
