It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Harrington (Sidney, Iowa), born in Nebraska City, Nebraska, who passed away on November 5, 2019, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett E. Simmerman and Julia Gladys Simmerman (Sears); her husband Charles Harrington, Sr.; and her siblings, Garnet Carson, Genevieve Gowing, Forest Simmerman and Norma Jean Simmerman.
She is survived by: her sons, Charles Harrington, Jr. (Beverly) of Sidney, IA and Curtis Lee Harrington of Nebraska City, NE; her granddaughter Alyssa Clabaugh (Mike); her great grandchildren, Amelia, Harper and Jeanette Harrington of Shenandoah, IA; and also Jace L'Heureux. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.
