Margaret Ann McSorley Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Ann McSorley of Sidney, Iowa, who passed away on November 22, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Livingston Willis and Ida Margaret Willis (Smith); her husband David Leroy McSorley; and her siblings, Ruby King, Betty Osborn, Margie Kilpatrick, Juledean Butcher and Chuck Willis.
She is survived by: her sister-in-law Charlotte Willis (Allison) of Washington, OK; her children, Brian McSorley (Heather) of Washington, OK, Paul McSorley (Christa) of Magnolia, TX and DeAnna Winters (McSorley) of Sidney, IA; her grandchildren, Ambur Beller (Matt) of Washington, OK, Alisha Braziel (Justin) of Washington, OK, Jacob McSorley (Shayle) of Washington, OK, David Griffith of Sidney, IA, Dakota McSorley of Magnolia, TX, Hannah Griffith of Yukon, OK, Bryce Winters of Sidney, IA and Zane McSorley of Washington, OK.; and her great grandchildren, Truett of Washington, OK, Haddie Beller of Washington, OK, Karleigh of Washington, OK, Evalynn of Washington, OK, Laynee Braziel of Washington, OK, Brexlea of Washington, OK and Emersynn McSorley of Washington, OK. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 5:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Marshall Funeral Chapel (500 S Main St, Sidney, IA 51652). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Interment will be in Grandview Cemetery near Sidney and memorials will go to Sidney Volunteer Fire and Rescue.
