It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary E. Walker of Sidney, Iowa, who passed away on February 3, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Alfred and Winifred June Walker (Rawlins); and his sister Nancy Hill Prime. He is survived by: his wife Donna Walker of Sidney, IA; his son Todd Walker (Sylvia) of Temple, TX; his granddaughter Marissa Walker (Sean Germino) of Dallas, TX; his son Trent Walker (Sandra) of Glenwood, IA; his grandson Christopher Severn (Danelle); his great grandchildren, Ava, Theo and Ellie of Kingsley, IA; his grandchildren, Caleb Severn (Shelby Klein) of Glenwood, IA and Terry Walker (Carly) of Snyder, NE; his great grandchild Carsten Walker (Kiera Stafford) of Snyder, NE; his niece Jodi Galindo (James) of Monahans, TX; and his nephew Marvin Hill (Nancy) of Del Rio, TX.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Victory Life Church (1000 Illinois St, Sidney, IA 51652). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be given to Sidney Fire and Rescue.
