He was predeceased by: his father Bill Doty; his brother Roger; his grandparents, Lee, Pearl Doty (McCord), Chester and Mildred Ballinger (Bell); his brother-in-law John Kearns; and his father-in-law Earl Silence.
He is survived by: his mother Jeanne Doty (Ballinger); his former wives, Lori Handy and Janet Gude (Ladd); his wife Coleen Doty (Bohlen); his stepdaughter Carleen Stuck (Tim); his daughters, Jina Sanders (Bill), Stephanie Doty (Kyle Bohlen) and Samantha Leseberg (Tel); and his siblings, Brad Doty (Lori) and Carol Kearns. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, many other relatives, and friends.
Memorials will go to the Sidney Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad and interment will be in the Riverton, Iowa Cemetery.
