He was predeceased by: his father Carl Victor Bengtson. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Bengtson; his daughter Andrea Perkins (Billy) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; his grandchildren, James and Josie; his daughter Mandy Speltz (Nathan) of Winona, Minnesota; his grandchildren, Madelynn and Tyler; his mother Melissa Beth Bengtson; and his siblings, Barry Bengtson of Shenandoah, Victoria Meade, Gina Showers, Melanie Patterson and Kelly Faris.

Due to the State of Iowa Covid-19 Restrictions, 15 persons are allowed in the building at one time. The Funeral Service will be private Blaine Richard Bengtson April 24, 1954 - December 11, 2020 Blaine Richard Bengtson was born on April 24, 1954 in Shenandoah, Iowa to Carl Victor Bengtson and Melissa Beth Carl.

Memorials will go to the Sidney Volunteer Rescue Squad.
