She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Vellema and Bertha Vellema (Walburg); her in-laws, Pete and Jenny Bosma; her son-in-law Jay; her brothers, Robert and Kenneth Vellema; and her siblings-in-law, Ellen Bosma, Shirley and Fred.

She is survived by: her husband Jerry; her children, Joel Bosma (Barbara), Jeffrey Bosma (Ronda), Karen (Joseph Benesh) and Jonathan Bosma (Angie); her grandchildren, Brooke, Clint Bosma, Josh Bosma, Nicole, Katrina Bosma, Jillian Brueggeman and Harris Bosma; her great grandchildren, Amelia and Isabella Bosma; and her siblings, Adela Daggett (Dennis), Carol Murphy (Bob), Phyllis Bosma (Dennis), Cindy Van De (Lynn), Janie Vande Griend (Jeff), Donna King (EJ), Lori Kroeze (Paul) and Paul Vellema (Phyllis).
