She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Henrichs and Ruth Henrichs (Buss); her husband Gilbert Petersen; her parents-in-law, Leone Gray and Donald Peteren; her daughter-in-law Pam Petersen (Larry); her brothers, Gerald Henrichs and George Henrichs; and her sister-in-law Rhonda Henrichs (George).
She is survived by: her children, Larry Petersen of Watertown, SD, Loren Petersen (Vonnie) of Sibley, Laureen McCarty (Patrick) of Sheldon and Kathy Ernst (Larry) of Summerville, SC.; her siblings, Bertha Schultz (Wallace) of Rushmore, MN, Linda Jansma (Cliff) of Sheldon, IA and Wendall Henrichs of Florida; and her sister-in-law Ruth Henrichs (Gerald) of Sibley, IA.. She is also survived by 10 Grandchildren: 14 Great Grandchildren.
