It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby Janssen of Sibley, Iowa, born in Rushmore, Minnesota, who passed away on January 18, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Reiter and Anna Reiter (Schipper); her husbands, Gerrit Vreeman of Sheldon and Harold Janssen; and her siblings, Ronald, Earl, Dale and Lucille.
She is survived by: her children, Rhonda Van Klompenburg (Rich) of Hospers, Iowa, Jerry Vreeman (Lois) of Sheldon, Iowa, Keith Vreeman (Toni) of Edgerton, Minnesota and Craig Vreeman (Connie) of Edgerton, Minnesota; and her siblings, Donna Grave and Paul Reiter (Carmen) of Sibley, Iowa.. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and twenty seven great grandchildren.
Flowers are not preferred, memorials may be directed to: First Presbyterian Church in Sibley.
