He was predeceased by: his parents, Pierce Hibma and Charlotte Hibma; his son John Hibma; his sister-in-law Suzanne Hibma; his siblings, Barbara Peters and Paul Hibma; and his brothers-in-law, Wesley Peters and Harold Ernst.
He is survived by: his wife Laurel; his children, Andrew Hibma (Victoria) and Alice Telfer (Charles); his daughter-in-law Lana Hibma; his granddaughter Elizabeth Hibma; his siblings, Lois Hasselblad (Wayne), Mim Ernst, Joe Hibma (Marian), Dan Hibma (Bonnie), Judy Dykstra (Lowell), Jerry Hibma (Nancy) and Steve Hibma (Lori); and his in-laws, Mim Hibma and Versa Stickle (Bill). He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jurrens Funeral Home (505 9th St, Sibley, IA 51249). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the First Reformed Church (1010 6th St, Sibley, IA 51249).
