It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lorraine Newman (Sibley, Iowa), who passed away on October 1, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jake Tjepkes and Johanna Tjepkes (Heeren); her husband Paul Newman; her granddaughter Jillian Ida Lammers; her son-in-law James C. Mc Clure; and her siblings, Luke Tjepkes, Martin Tjepkes, Harry Tjepkes, Tina Rust, Johanna Gross, Fannie Nachtigal Lutjens and Kathryn Rosenberg.
She is survived by: her daughters, Julie Blank (Roger) of Alexandria, MN and Nancy Lammers (Lanny) of Sibley, IA; her grandchildren, James Mc Clure (Tonia) of Cokato, MN, Alicia Klimek (Michael) of Alexandria, MN, Patricia Wiitanen (Bruce) of Alexandria, MN, Sarah Hernandez (Pastor Benjamin) of Holland, MI and Abby Duckett (Trevor) of Sibley, IA; and her sisters, Viola Johnson of St. Michael, MN, Marian Boltjes of Ellsworth, MN and Leona Geerdes of Blackduck, MN. She is also survived by twelve great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren.
