He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Mullinix and Clara Mullinix (Veenis); and his siblings, Shirley Mullinix Snook, Sharon Mullinix Myott, Gerald "Junior" Mullinix and Linda Mullinix Williams.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Mullinix of Sibley, IA; his sons, Donald Servold (Carolyn) of Denver, CO, Larry Mullinix (Jennifer) of Dell Rapids, SD and Todd Mullinix of Sioux Falls, SD; his stepdaughters, Amy Strouth (Doug) of Sheldon, IA, Nicole Hadenfeldt of Des Moines, IA, Audrey Adams (Chris Waterman) of Sheldon, IA, Laura Shefte of Fairmont, MN and Shari Denning of Sibley, IA; and his brother Billy Mullinix (Rebecca) of Yuma, AZ. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
