We are sad to announce that on January 2, 2025, at the age of 82, Kirk Wheeler of Sibley, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Wheeler and Caroline Wheeler (Timmermann); and his stepson Mike Schmidt. He is survived by: his wife Verla; his children, Janece Nissen (Ike) of Berthoud, CO. and Dana Wheeler (Melea) of Gilbert, AZ; his grandchildren, Logan, Tanner, Brett, Abi Verdugo (Josh), Lucas and Sophia; and his stepsons, Ron Schmidt of Cass Lake, MN. and Brad Schmidt of Minneapolis, MN..
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the United Church of Christ. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Family prefers memorials be directed to Legacy Thrift in Worthington, MN or Samaritan's Purse.
