She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Houwen and Irene Houwen (Sleutel); her spouse Merlin Leroy Tjaden; and her son Ron. She is survived by: her children, Dan Tjaden (Terri), Ken "Bubba" Tjaden (Sharalyn), Janet Johnson (Scott), Daryl Tjaden (Sharon) and Bob Tjaden (Stephanie). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
