He was predeceased by: his parents, Jake Vos and Johanna Vos (Van Engen); his parents-in-law, Henry and Martha Kruse; his brothers-in-law, Burdell Kruse, John Kenninger and Merle Schuett; his nephew Bobby Kenninger; and his great-nephew Grizzel.
He is survived by: his former wife Faye Kruse; his wife Faye Vos of Sibley, IA; his daughter Marne Strasser (Bryce); his grandchildren, Mahli of Lennox, SD and Abbie of Lennox, SD; his son Joel Vos (Kristy); his grandchildren, Jacob of Spirit Lake, IA and Mackenzie of Spirit Lake, IA; his brother Robert Vos (Norma) of Sibley, IA; and his sisters-in-law, Linda Schuett of Sheldon and Julie Kruse of Ruston, LA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other extended family.
