He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Schram and Daisy Schram (Heil); and his siblings, Kathrine Prins, Don and Ray Schram.

He is survived by: his wife Lynn Schram of Sibley, IA; his children, David Schram (Nancy) of Bemidji, MN, Deb Hellinga (Joel) of Lake Park, IA and Pam Kroeger (David); his sister Anna Mae Brouwer (Albert) of Slayton, MN; and his siblings-in-law, Jennie Schram of Sibley, IA, Ellen Schram of Sibley, IA and Paul Soderquist (Gail) of Mesa, AZ. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be directed to the Schram family for later designation.
