It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ethel Trei Augsburger (Sibley, Iowa), who passed away on April 9, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hassebroek and Anna Hassebroek (Buss); her husbands, Harvey Trei and Victor Augsburger; and her siblings, Oran Hassebroek, Donald Hassebroek and Beatrice Monkemeier.
She is survived by: her daughters, Dianne Gruis (Lloyd) of Sibley, IA, Barbara Galles (Tom) of LeMars, IA, Pat Johnson (Bob) of George, IA and Cindy Scandrett (Al) of Greensboro, NC; and her sister Donna Rypkema (John) of George, IA.. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren.
The family requests no flowers be sent. Memorials may be directed to the family for later designation.
