He is survived by: his sons, Kelly Van Beest (Debbie), David Van Beest (Faye) and Sheldon; his granddaughters, Jennifer Roberts (Nate) of Avon, IN, Rebecca Moore (Doug), Fort Walton Beach and Shannon Van Beest of Ames, IA; his great grandchildren, Melanie, Zeke, Karl and Jake; his brother John Van Beest (Dianne); and his sisters-in-law, Ethel Van Beest, Pepper Van Beest, Irene Reiter and Dorothy Rathje. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
