He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Larson and Velva Larson (Folkers); his wife Verla Heikes; his son Brian Don; and his siblings, Nina, Lois and Elgin.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lori Lovera of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Luann Dodge of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, Debbie Liechty (Bob) of Marion, Iowa, Donna Larson of Johnston, Iowa, Becky Block (Tom) of Sibley, Iowa and Valerie Larson-Holmes (Mike) of Brandon; and his grandchildren, Nikki Pelant (Jeff), Alex Lovera (Serena), Erica Draeger (Eric), Zachary Lovera (Olivia), Jesse Dodge, Sarah Dodge (Kristian Johnson), William Liechty (Emily), Katie Solano (Anthony), Andrea, Caroline Liechty, Amanda Goetzke (Luke), Brandon Korkow (Anna), David Korkow, Brittiany Meyne (Nick), Brian Block (Nicole), Taylor Block, Cameron Holmes (Carolyn Lussenhop), Andrew Holmes (McKayla), Elizabeth Blue (Mason) and Carter Holmes. He is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren.
