He is survived by: his wife Arlene Stirler; his children, Katie Rick (Derek) of Sioux Falls, SD, Urs Grueter (Rachel) of Singapore, Phillip Grueter of Switzerland and German Shorthair; his pet Sophie; his sisters, Diane Lechman (Jim) of St. Croix Falls, WI and Lynette Doyle (Mike) of Council Bluffs, IA; and his sisters-in-law, Patricia Bosma and Elizabeth Bruns (Randy). He is also survived by many relatives and friends.
