Corwin Slagter Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Corwin Slagter of Sibley, Iowa, who passed away on October 26, 2020 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Theodore Slagter; and his stepfather Bernard Vander Veen. He is survived by: his wife Pam Van Zanten; his children, Anna (Tyler Van Ess), Kelly, Corey and Christopher; his grandchildren, Aleah and Theodore; his mother Lorraine Vander Veen (Dysktra); his siblings, Randy (Carla), Arlyn (Cindy), Judy (Jeff Frikke) and Lori (Craig Van Peursem); his parents-in-law, Albert and Harriett Van Zanten; and his siblings-in-law, Sandy (Verlyn Van Bemmel), Judy (Andy Heim), Allen (Patty), Mike and Phil (Jen). He is also survived by many nieces, and nephews.
Social distancing guidelines will be followed and masks are encouraged.
In lieu of flowers or other memorabilia the family requests gifts to Sanborn Christian School, Ellsworth Public School Ag Department, or World Renew.
