He was predeceased by: his wife Marilyn Canby Baas; his former wife Helene Hoekman Rush; his parents, Jacob Baas and Gerturde Baas; and his brothers, Vernon Baas and Roger Baas.
He is survived by: his children, Valerie Willis (Mike) of Gaithersburg, MD and Brett Baas of Cincinnati, OH; his grandchildren, Jared Willis and Victoria Willis; and his siblings, Gerald Baas (Avis) and Wavajean Buckholtz.
