She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Dausener and Theresa Dausener (Kruse); her husband Frederick Koehler; and her brother-in-law Roger Cottrell. She is survived by: her children, Kim Spoerre (Jeff) of Sherrill, Debra Romans (Roy) of North Liberty and Steve Koehler (Mary Lou) of Sherrill; and her siblings, Phyllis Cottrell of Dubuque and Phillip Dausener (Pat) of Dubuque. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren.
