It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Merlin Alphonse Brimeyer of Sherrill, Iowa, who passed away on February 2, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Felix Brimeyer and Anna Brimeyer (Wagner); his parents-in-law, George and Mary Wolf (Winter); his siblings, Reynold, Gilbert, LaVerne Brimeyer and Delores Hannan; and his parents-in-law, John Hannan, Ray Ernzen, Ardella, Frank Connolly, Marlene Dupont, Nicholas and Doris Wolf.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Wolf; his children, Steve Brimeyer (Judy) of Sherrill, Debbie Steffen (Wayne) of Rickardsville, Rick Brimeyer (Judy) of Sherrill, Judy Hefel (Milo) of Dubuque, Connie Henkes (Dana) of Dubuque and Tom Brimeyer of Sherrill; his grandchildren, Jenny Kruger (Lance), Julie Mueller (Kyle), Peggy Hanson (Marc), Jason Steffen (Kelli), Crystal Smith (Jesse), Rachel Schilling (Adam), Michelle Klaren (Rob), Matthew Brimeyer (Jessica), Sarah Smith (Ted), Kayla Naderman (Tony), Becca Barton (Tyler), Brittni Benda (Charles), Brandon Hefel, Brock Hefel, Stephanie Farber (Nick) and Jeremy Henkes; and his siblings-in-law, Marlene Brimeyer, Norma Brimeyer and Richard Dupont. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
