With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Herman Gansemer (Sherrill, Iowa), who passed away on August 17, 2019 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Herman Gansemer to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Gansemer and Theresa Gansemer (Butlett); his wife Marie Osterkamp; and his siblings, Viola Hefel (Mick), Lawrence Gansemer and LaVerne.
He is survived by: his children, Kathy Winter (Del) of Marion, Joan Lux (John) of Dubuque and Ron Gansemer (Delores) of Sherrill; and his siblings, Henry Gansemer (Mary Jane), Darlene Weber (Emil), Clarence Gansemer (Darlene) and Sally Bleile (Cletus). He is also survived by eight grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials will be accepted by the family for later donation to Herman's favorite charities.
