She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Cummer and Barbara Link Cummer; her husband John J. Specht; her son Gerald; her daughter-in-law Debbie Specht; and her siblings, Lorene Gansemer (Arnold), Marie Hannan (Donald), Marcella Schueller (Norbert), Dorothy Markham (John), Myrtle Leibfried (Victor), Norbert Cummer (Laverne "Honey"), Lucille Brimeyer (Robert), Florence Habel (Cyril), Leon Cummer and Glen Stoffel.
She is survived by: her children, Jack Specht (Carol) of Guttenberg, Shirley Spoerl (John) of Sherrill, Sharon Weber (Gary) of Holy Cross, Jim Specht (Cheryl) of Sageville, Joe Specht (Becky) of Sherrill, Bob Specht of Worthington and Bill Specht (Ann) of Sherrill; her brother Bill Cummer (Margie) of Dubuque; and her sister-in-law Bernie Specht of Davenport, IA.. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been made for Hospice of Dubuque and Bethany Home.
