Velma Helen Hey Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Velma Helen Hey of Shenandoah, Iowa, born in Grant, Iowa, who passed away on August 25, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Leila English and Lloyd Bills; her sibling Phoenix; her former husband Leo Gutschenritter; her husband Donald Hey; her sons, Paul Hey of Ankeny, Mark Hey (Beth) of Ankeny and Greg Hey (Sheri) of Naperville, IL; her grandchildren, Matt, Noah, Natalie and Grace; and her siblings, Pete Soda, Wayne Bills and Dorothy Carrico. She was also cherished by many in-laws, nieces, nephews, and extended family.
