He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard R. Gordon and Helen A. Gordon (Bursha); his sister Patricia Rogerson; his son Russell, Jr.; and his granddaughter Erin Joy Falk.
He is survived by: his children, Pat, Shirley and Mart; his wife Doris; his siblings, Albert M. "Mart" Gordon (Bonnie) of Forest City and Shirley Gordon of Forest City; and his children, Dave Gordon (Toshie) of Shenandoah, Thomas Gordon (Susan) of Tuscon, Richard Gordon (Tanya) of Lake Forest, Karen Falk (Bodie) of Shenandoah and Gary Gordon of Shenandoah. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
