He was predeceased by: his mother Dorothy Ann Skalberg (Carlson); his wife Jamie Skalberg; his parent Carroll Skalberg; his brother Terry; his siblings-in-law, Marsha Skalberg and Don Coughlin; and his nephew Dan Coughlin.
He is survived by: his sons, TJ (Kristie Skalberg) and Eric Skalberg of Sioux City, Iowa; his granddaughters, Sara Skalberg and Samantha Racine; his sister Carole Ann Coughlin of Fremont, Nebraska; his nephew Kyle (Amy Coughlin); his great-nephews, Dawson and Drew Coughlin; his great-niece Addisen Coughlin; his sister-in-law Becky (Bill Masur); his sister-in-law Molly (Shane Sorenson); his nephew Alex; and also, Brooke and Vinny.
