He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Sr. Casteel and Margaret Casteel (Morgan); and his siblings, Lavonne Gray, Dorothy Busboom, Joe, Guy Jr. and Robert.

He is survived by: his wife Wilma Jeanne Burns of Shenandoah; his sons, David (Carla), Chris (Janie) and Ed (Cathy); and his sister-in-law Mabel "Sis" Casteel of Garden Grove, CA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
