He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Hopkins and Helen Hopkins of Shenandoah, Iowa; and his sister Bonnie. He is survived by: his wife Jocelyn Hopkins; his sons, Chris Hopkins (Jen), Brad Hopkins (Jess) and David Mustard (Shani); his grandchildren, Alyssa (Nate), Hanna, Eric, Carson, Eleanor, Alexandria and Donovan; and his siblings, Becci Etter (Don) and Julia Pettipiece (late Clayton).
